Installation Manager URL returns HTTP 404
Not sure if this is a daft newbie problem or not. I have just downloaded the Team Server and Team Concert client (Installer) last night and have tried installing these onto my work XP laptop. Server installed fine but when I unzip the client and execute the install.exe it starts the IBM Installation Manager software but then fails to find any repositories. I am behind a corporate proxy server etc. but even when I configure these details in it still fails.
As a test I tried to enter the repository install URL into my browser and receive a HTTP 404 error. The following is the URL contained within the install.xml file
https://jazz.net/downloads/betas/data/0.6Beta2a/install-repository/
Is this a known problem, or have I missed something?
Thanks

You will not be able to access the repository directory itself as
directory listing is not enabled for that URL. However, you can test
your ability to access data in the install repository from a browser
using the following URL:
https://jazz.net/downloads/betas/data/0.6Beta2a/install-repository/repository.xml
Are you able to access that file from a browser? Also, you should be
prompted by the installation manager for your jazz.net username/password
when you attempt to install the RTC client. Are you getting the
password challenge?

Hi James,
Thanks for the response. Yes I can pull repository.xml file through a browser (Firefox 2.0.0.12) without any problems. The problem seems to be specific to the ability of Installation Manager to connect to the repository.
We are behind an NTLM authenticating proxy and this all works fine with the browsers (Firefox/IE). However when I examine the packet trace with Ethereal it looks to be getting refused when attempting the connection to jazz.net by the proxy which returns a http error 407. Does the Installation Manager support the use of proxy authenication credentials? Apologies, I realise this may now be getting somewhat off-topic and outside your realm.

Hi Rob,
I have opened work item 44587 to track this issue and am following up
with the installation manager development team. I suspect you are
already aware of this but you can obtain the RTC client as a simple zip
from the download page as well (It's under the 'All Team Concert
Downloads' section labeled 'Team Concert (No Installer)')
