Problems starting the build engine

Hello,
I just got some problems starting the build engine. I am using RTC 2.0.0.2 Express-C. Mar 5, 2010 3:38:43 PM org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector executeWithRetry INFO: I/O exception (java.net.SocketException) caught when processing request: Protocol not available Mar 5, 2010 3:38:43 PM org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector executeWithRetry INFO: Retrying request 2010-03-05 15:38:43 CRRTC3528E: Error logging in to repository https://localhost:11443/jazz/ with user id: builduser 2010-03-05 15:38:43 CRRTC3524W: Repository connection failed: CRJAZ1371E The URL "https://localhost:11443/jazz/service/com.ibm.team.repository.common.internal.IRepositoryRemoteService" cannot be reached. The server cannot be reached. The network could not connect to the server. The error is "Protocol not available". Contact your system administrator. Any idea how to fix this problem? I never had problems like this before with the buildengine. The server is running fine and the service is also listed in the component status view. I have no error messages in the server log. The server is running under port 11443. I configured the port in the tomcat server.xml and in the server advanced properties URL HTTPS PORT. Thanks a lot, Timo |

Sorry, I fixed the problem.
It was a java error. The buildengine was using the wrong jre. After using the jre from the rtc server, the build engine works fine. Best, Timo |
