Changing the Project Area that owns a certain task

Hello,

If a user has created a Task in a Project Area, what if we want to move the task to an iteration in a new Project Area. Is there an easy way to reassign this, or do we need to close the task, and create a Duplicate one in the new Project Area?

Hi,

there is the "Copy To Project Area..." wizard in the context menu of work items (also in the work item editor on the title) that also offers to move a work item. Since processes of two project areas can differ, the move might not be able to carry over all values, the wizard will tell you about these.
