Export to RQM - Excel

Installed RQM Excel Utility Plugin, while exporting, the project combo is not listing the projects I am a member of.

I have Jazz User Permission and Architect Role.

If anybody have any thoughts how the projects will get populated, please help.

Are any projects populating to the project combo? Or is nothing being populated? Is an error thrown?

Make sure you are using the proper syntax for the "RQM server" field:
https://rqmServer

not

https://rqmServer:9443
or
https://rqmServer:9443/jazz
or
https://rqmServer:9443/jazz/web/console
or
rqmServer
or
http://rqmServer

etc.

the server url is https://servername.abc.com

UserID: and Pwd:
After User ID and Pwd the projects drop down is showing only
'could not retrieve projects' as the value. No error is thrown.

Let me know your inputs.

Hi,
Can you see if there are any errors in the debug log?
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Mso2Rqm\Mso2Rqm_Debug.log

You can also go to the link the tool's trying to use, which is:

https://servername.abc.com:9443/jazz/secure/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/projects

it should ask you to log in if you haven't already, but then it should show you the Atom feed of the projects.

Hello,

Found this thread when trying to research why I cannot export to RQM from Excel. I can log in manually at the link the tool is trying to use to export from Excel to RQM:

https://servername.abc.com:9443/jazz/secure/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/projects

And I get a list of the projects. But when I use the same information in the exort to repository from excel dialog box, it is giving me invalid user name/pw error. and cannot find project errors. Any ideas?

My password was too complicated. I just changed it to all lowercase letters only and the export to RQM worked. Wow, that was weird.

Is this a user permission requirement to use the export to repository, I'm a Jazz User only. I'm having the same issue.

Rajahv,

We were seeing very similar behavior. Our issue sended up being that the "export xml" permission was not enabled on the defualt "Quality Manager" project. Once we granted that for the users with issues the drop down in the Excel importer showed all of the appropriate projects.

Hope that helps!

Anyone else still facing this issue?

As a jazz admin, I can see all the projects under the Projects dropdown list, but others cannot. I took a user and assigned a role that has all the permission set to yes, still that user doesn't see the projects.

What else is there, license type? I also changed around that, still no effect.
