I have sucessfully integrated Quick Test Professional Adapter 9.x with RQM 2.0 Beta

Using

QTP Version : 9.2

OS : windows XP

Sucessfully installed QTPAdapter on machine where the QTP 9.2 exists.

But when i try to execute QTP scripts through QTP Adapter from RQM 2.0 i am getting following error message in QTPAdapter log file

Error:

User Dir: C:\QTP Adapter\QTPAdapter\bin

what could be the issue?

Please do let me know the solution for the above

The adapters were tested on RQM 1.0 and 1.0.1. I believe that they work on 1.0.1.1 as well. But I am checking to see if 2.0 is supported yet.

Hi,

I could able to integrate QTP Adapter with RQM 1.0

Im Import section test script i could able to see the 'HP Quick Test Professional 9.x' in script type list box.

But i could not able to find the QTP adapter in the list window after i click 'select adapter' button.

I have initiated QTP Adapter in remote machine where the QTP 9.2 software exists.

I could able to find the issue?

Note : Remote machine where the QTP Adapter is installed and RQM usage machine are in same domain.

thanks & regards,
Rajesh Gottapu.

What are the steps that you followed, pls ? It appears to me that the adapter is not able to detect the script as a valid script. Please create a new script in RQM and import the reference of a valid QTP script using your adapter. Once the test script in RQM is created successfully, please try to re-execute the script.
