Query across 2 RTC project areas

Is it possible to query across 2 RTC project areas that I have linked together? I can use the search function to find records in both Project Areas but when I try and create a query I don't see an option to select both Project Areas.

I looked in the Help but didn't see anything there either.

This is not currently supported.
It is requested in work item 94575, which is currently on the potential
RTC-3.0 list, but at a low priority.
