Story converted to Epic retains Story Points

Martin Erzberger (131199) | asked Feb 03 '10, 3:48 a.m.
Hello
With RTC 2.0.0.2 Scrum template; I entered a Story and provided an estimate in story points. Later, the Story turned out to be way more complex than originally thought. It was converted to an Epic, and a number of new child Stories were created underneath.

It appears that the Epic now contains an estimate in Story Points (visible in the "Custom" tab). It also appears that these Story points are considered in plans or progress calculation.

-> How can I get rid of these story points? Setting them to "0" doesn't remove the attribute.

Thanks! Martin

AFAK, there is no way to remove that attribute. But why is have them 0 pt not enough?

I just have a similar problem, and I also not found a way to remove the attribute.
The only way seems to be to set the value to 0 pts.
But it looks just ugly in the plans. :-(
