Easiest way to duplicate a story and it's subtasks

Using the scrum template, we have a recurring story for each external release with subtasks for stuff like building, compiling documents, packaging and shipping the release.
Since this is recurring, we'd like an easy way to duplicate this set of tasks and their parent story, when we encounter a sprint in which an external release is required.

For now, we are copying the story and each task and linking them together manually, one by one. It seems a bit tedious.

Any ideas for a better way to obtain the same result?

you may want to create a work item template for each recurring task:
