Team Advisor - overrule requested
Hey guys,
I noticed in the Team Advisor that you get the option to request an override of a rule in the Team Advisor. I'm wondering where those requests are sent? And where you get to approve/deny them? Thanks! Eric. |

Preconditions for operations such as the SCM deliver operation are
specified by the active team process. The active process is determined by the team area the stream you deliver to belongs to. The active process is defined by the project area's process specification plus any applicable process customization by the team area or any of its parents. The process specifies whether a precondition can be overruled or not. Overruling is not a concept that requires another authority. I.e. the request is not send to anyone. An overrule request just tells the process runtime that the operation can proceed even in the presence of failing precondition checks. Precondition checks that can be overruled are thought as helpers to do the right thing. They check for conditions that are usually required but allow for exceptions after manual inspection by the user requesting the operation. Kai Jazz Process component team ericlee wrote: Hey guys, |

The Process runtime decides whether or not the overrule request will be
granted when you press the "Retry" button on the Team Advisor view toolbar. Your ability to overrule a precondition is based on how the process is configured. When your team lists the preconditions that must be met, they can specify which ones are overrulable. - Jared ericlee wrote: Hey guys, -- --- Jared Burns Jazz Process Team |
