How to query for String and HTML type attribute in ALM

Hello,

We have a custom attribute of String Type, and we would like to add the attribute in query condition.
We see that no String or HTML type attributes are listed in Query condition.

Can someone please confirm if it is now possible to add String/Text and HTML type attribute in query condition.
Or if there is any workaround to query for the String and HTML type attributes.

Thanks in advance,

I can query and display built in and custom string and HTML attributes.

I added the attribute to the editor presentation. I synchronized the attributes. I set the attributes on one work item, then the attributes showed up in the Query editor. I did not expect I needed to create a work item with the attributes used. Maybe this is a racing condition. Not sure.

Is it also possible to query for "Large String" or "Large HTML" type attribute as well?
I am trying to query for an attribute of type "Large String", and I am not able to find this attribute in query condition.

Thanks in advance,

Sneha

So, why did not specify this in your original question? It would have been easy enough to test that. Also, if you seriously  consider to use tools in your development process, consider to create a test server e.g. using the eval licenses and test if you can implement what you need.

For Large HTML/String "Use the Full Text attribute if you would like to query this attribute's contents" as the query editor tells you.

Could you please also clarify if it is possible to use Full Text attribute with "does not contain" option?

Or why is it limited to only "contains".
