ETM - Automation possibilities to add Test Cases to Test Plan

Hi Team,

Due to the known defect DT390832, we are not able to make use of the feature ""Add Linked Test cases to current test plan".
Now we have a critical project timeline to add around 3000+ test cases to a test plan.
Is there any automation possible to handle this use case in ETM?

I don't know how to access DT390832. You do not provide any details either. 

https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/ELMProductAPILanding shows the available APIs. For ETM there are the Reportable REST API and the OSLC API that could be used for automation.
