How to have Filed Against with a default value in a particular RTC template

Namrata B (2115) | asked Oct 06 '22, 9:53 p.m.
Hi All,

I have created a template in RTC 7.0.2 for a project area. When creating template from "Create from Template",

We get a dropdown option for Filed Against and Planned For attribute.
Can anyone please tell me how we can set default values for the above mentioned attributes while creating templates.

Thanks in advance.

I do not understand the question and I am not sure what you are trying to ask for.

My understanding is that you have two options.

1. If you choose the option for Filed Against or Planned For as variables, you will have to select a value. There is no default value you could set as far as I can tell.
2. If you do not select that option, the values are set based on the values set in the work item used to create the template.
