I would like to know the difference between the following processes and what they are intended for:

- TRS Feed Diagnostic Validation
- TRS 2.0 Rebase
- Reindex of the data source

Thanks in advance!

- TRS Feed Diagnostic Validation:
The TRS Validation (assuming you mean the TRS validation from within LQE)  compares the current TRS feed with the data in the LQE index. It checks for missing or extra artifacts and, if possible, resolves the discrepancies.

In rm/admin> debug >Tracked Resource Set there is also an option to do a TRS validation. That validation compares the data in the TRS feed with the data in Doors Next.

- TRS Rebase:
A full TRS Rebase completely rebuilds the TRS feed from scratch and discards the old TRS feed.
After a TRS Rebase you always must perform a reindex of the datasource.

- Reindex of the data source
A reindex of the data source rebuilds the LQE index for that data source based on the content in the TRS feed.
The LQE index is the place where most of the data is read from when obtaining the data requested by the reports.
