How are suspect links implemented for DOORS 7?

DOORS Next V7.0.x offers "Link Validity", an expansion on the concept of "suspect links" used to help people propagate related changes through a graph of engineering information.

"Suspicion" is replaced by "Link Validity" in DOORS Next.   

Look up Link Validity in the on line documentation for details.
To summarize, the link validity status on a given link is based on the actual content of the source and target artifacts of the link.  A user can state that the link of a given type between two artifacts with given content is Valid (the relationship holds) or Invalid (the relationship does not hold).  If the user has not stated either of these things, then the link is Suspect.  The link validity information is stored in a separate global table managed by the JTS.
