Hi Prashanth,
There is no way set default font styles in DNG for newly created artifacts. You will need to change the font style manually using the drop down in the editor from the WebUI.

You can use artifact templates to preset the font and text of a new requirement of a specific artifact type - see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elm/7.0.2?topic=components-creating-artifact-templates - these allow you to reuse artifact content and related properties as a basis for new artifacts. You'll select the artifact template when you create a new artifact. Use an example artifact to set the text font then create a template from it - the font (and text) is then present in a new artifact created from that template.
Also you can use module templates to reuse structure and content, optionally creating nrew headings and artifacts or reusing the source headings/artifacts - see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elm/7.0.2?topic=components-creating-module-templates.

Comments Ian, can artifact templates be used during import > "import requirements from within a text document"?
How does one change the font per artifact type for artifacts that are already imported or created, including rich text formatting?... example: all Primary Text/Contents of a certain artifact type need to be in a specific size font and in bold.
That's a different question - but no I don't think it's possible to specify a template when importing from e.g. Microsoft Word. However as the formatting in the document is imported, you could ensure that the document is formatted how you want to see it in DOORS Next before doing the import. |
