What is the best way to troubleshoot a data scheme connection issue in RPE?

We are using Jazz 6.0.4 on AWS and version 2.1.2 of RPE on my laptop.  The Rational License Key Server also resides on my laptop.

I am trying to create a data source for the RQM Feed and I keep getting either a "connection failed" error or an "authentication error".  I know my schema is correct since I can enter that into a browser, get prompted for my credentials, and then it populates with the schema.

I have tried all five forms of authentication: Auto, Basic, Form, OAuth, and OAuth-OSLC.  None of them work. 

Are there any other connection settings that I can modify?  Is there any other way to troubleshoot this connection/authentication error?

Can your try adding -Dcom.ibm.rational.rpe.tls12only=true parameter in rpe-launcher.ini and rpe-studio.ini files?
