Why links are not visible in DNG?

I was able to achieve bi directional traceability from Matlab to DNG and vice versa but after sometime the links are not available in

DNG. <o:p></o:p>
Link are also not visible through the widget hyperlink.
Please provide justification for same .
Kindly Note, I’m using Matlab 2018a with DNG of ifix 6.0.5<o:p></o:p>

What was the link type used to like the artifacts with items in matlab?

if you create a new link, it's visible in both sides? do you receive an error while creating a new link? 
if new links are not seen either as well as old links created, i think it could be a problem in the settings to communicate DNG with matlab.
