Round Trip Excel Re-import issue

Linda Roberts (31210) | asked Jun 25 '18, 1:50 p.m.

Hello. We are using DOORS Next Generation 6.0.4.

Several times now I have run into error messages upon re-import from Excel during round-trip from Excel.

I have double checked that the heading columns are correct, that the attributes are associated with artifact type, etc. etc., in fact, if I choose to "Create New" artifacts rather than updating the old ones, my spreadsheets work without an error message. The Identifier column seems to be correct.

But I want to be able to update attributes, preserving old artifacts and their links.

The message is of the form

Validation Errors:
Row Number: 1
Error Message: Propagated exception; original message [ForbiddenException: CRRRS8663E This attribute definition is unknown: >https://<server>:9443/rm/types/_rb8TAW9EEeiZUYws5uI7Xg CRRRS8663E This attribute definition is unknown:

You should open a support case for this.

Try applying the latest iFix first and see if that helps.
