Can you link a test case to a DNG table cell?

 We're running CLM 605 ifix 15.  One of our users noted a problem in linking to a cell in a table in a module. 

the link reverts to the base artifact.

Wondering if others have had this issue or is it another DNG bug?

 Hi Norman,


It is not supported to link to a cell under a table which is a base artifact. QM Supports linking to module Artifact/base artifact but not items under a base artifact.

Thanks for getting back to me however, we're not trying to link to a cell in a base artifact, we're trying too link to a cell in a table in a module.  When we do, we get a base artifact link.

If the table cell doesn't have its own distinct object identifier you probably can't.

You ought to be able to create the inverse relationship from the table cell to the test artefact (since the test artefact does have a known identifier)..?

we tried this but as i stated earlier , you get a base artifact link, not a module artifact link.
