DCC and database for CLM 5.0.2

Pradeep Basnet (6011320) | asked May 20 '15, 2:41 p.m.

We are implementing to JRS with DCC in CLM 5.0.2. Should I create new database for DCC? IBM documentation is not clear. I am using SQL server 2012 as a database. Please share your lesson learned if you have while configuring DCC.

When configuring DCC, there are two databases involved. One is for used for DCC application, you need to create a new database for it. The default configuration is Derby which points to "conf/dcc/derby/repositoryDB".

The other is the data warehouse database. For data warehouse, you can reuse the DW you configured for ETL before. But you need to update the database parameter follow document http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_5.0.2/com.ibm.rational.dcc.doc/topics/t_preinstall_database.html?lang=en

Hope it's helpful.
