Restrict role to view particular work item

 Hi Team


I am using CLM 6.0.6
If users which has assigned "Developer" role and that role should be able to view "Task" type work item only and not able to access/view other types of work item So how it should be implemented in RTC.
I tried using access control but not able to find any hint.
Even I have tried restricted work item through category.
Can any one help me for this issue.

In the ELM applications (including RTC), write access-control is role-based, but read-access control is not.   Read-access is controlled through either project area membership, team area membership, or (for RTC) access group membership.

I'm not sure why you'd want to restrict Work Item Types but;

However you could configure a restricted "Team" / Categories which enables you to manage what Individual users (Say Developers) would be able to see in that team and others?   Still not sure of the use case?
