Unable to save Ranked List view

We have a ranked list displayed on a dashboard tab that when updated doesn't allow us to save (Save is greyed out). It used to be able to be modified this way - no permissions around this have been changed.

What permissions or other may be affecting this?

Jono,

I sometime use a plan view in a dashboard when I don't want users to modify it;  it's a read only version.

You need to open the plan - click on the name of the plan in the widget to edit it?

sounds odd from your explanation?

Depends if someone is using a link to the plan "External content widget" rather than a "plan widget"?
