Automatic calculation in CR form

Hi team,

I would like to incorporate following capability in Project change request.

CR request date - Entered manually

Planned start date - Automatic -- CR Requested date + 5 days

Planned end date = Planned start date + 5 days. - Automatic.

Please let me know the steps to achieve this kind of automatic form calculations.

You can write the Script based value providers. Below has more information and example for the same.

I would also suggest to have a look at https://jazz.net/library/article/1093 Lab 5 for scripting, as it has a bit more information. Please be aware that there are Planned Start Date and Planned End date values in planning. They ares as far as I am aware calculated by the scheduler and not available as real attributes. If you hope to tie this with planning, I think you can't.
