How to print number like 1, 1.1. is Table of content in RPE

Hi,
Am trying to print number like 1, 1.1. 1.1.1,2., in table of content ,So i check sample rpe template, when i used the style i am not able to get the output as expected.What will be reason for that or how can i achieve to get number in table of content like 1.introduction 2.purpose like that.

Are you trying to get these numbers from DNG module?

Yes,
like module have
1.intro
2.purpose
 2.1 scope
like that.but am not able to fetch that number.i guess this is some style dependent.
