Keep Excel/Word text formatting when using the Excel/Import Tool for RQM Test Scripts

Keenan Entress (111) | asked Dec 11 '18, 9:21 a.m.

I have been trying to take test scripts written in Word and export them to RQM. I have the Excel/Word Importer installed and a script written to do the process and it works, but for the life of me I cannot keep the same formatting, such as bold/italicized/underlined text. Is there anyway to keep the text formatting the same in RQM as it was in word when exporting?

Keenan,

You could use RichText syntax support in configuration file (*.cfg) to retain basic office supported formatting (supports Rich Text Format). It will enable to display the word/excel document format in the RQM rich text area. Please refer wiki or sample file for further help on this.

Mehul
