New Process Questions

Jamie Samdal (911) | asked Jan 10 '08, 1:36 p.m.
Hello,

I've read over the wiki site on processes, but I am still somewhat unclear as to what I need to do to actually deploy a new process. (I basically need to allow users (in my case students) to check in code that has errors).

Any suggestions? It looks like the only place that processes are defined currently are actually in provided plugins. Do I need my own process plugin to create and use a different process?

Thanks,
Jamie

You can create new process templates from the Process Templates view.

Whenever you create a new project area, you can then choose one of these
templates and the template's process will be copied to the new project area.

Is that what you're looking for?

Yes, that does in fact look to be exactly what I was looking for. :) Thank you, this is going to be much more straightforward than I expected. :)
