Can you add Rank to a Workitem Form?
I have a request from one of our teams to add a field that essentially shows the Rank value for a workitem from their board on the workitem itself.
I'm thinking this may not be possible.
The latest thing I could find on ranking is for RTC 4.0.5.

As far as I know and according to the article the rank of a work item is maintained in the planning component. There is no work item attribute that reflects the rank. It is also unclear what such an attribute would really represent and how to interpret that. There was attribute based ranking in the past and the value set by the planning component was not human usable either.
There is no way to have an absolute number for ranking as far as I understand the concepts. I am not aware of a way to add custom automation either.
