How to prevent users from editing change set comments which has been delivered.

Krishna K (137) | asked Dec 18 '18, 6:03 a.m.

 Hi,

Can anyone please let me know what configuration needs to be done in order to prevent users from updating change set comments or adding/deleting associated work item after delivery of change set to stream.

At present if users go to the 'Component' history, they can edit comments and delete associated work item of change sets delivered to stream and which(Change set) are owned by some other user.

Version: CLM 6.0.5.

Thanks in advance!

If the component is owned by a Project or Team Area, then permission to change the comment on the change set is controlled by the "Source Control -> Save Change Set Links and Comments (server) > Modify Comment" permission in the Process Configuration.

If the change set is still active, then the author always has permission to change it.
