We currently have RTC/RQM 4.0.5 deployed in a WAS 7.0.0.23 server and we are evaluating to upgrade WAS to a newer version.

The key point to justify the upgrade is the performance improvement since we are having some issues from external locations about that.

So the question is, does an upgrade of WAS from 7 to 8 introduce performance improvements for RTC/RQM?

We are interested to know this as well, since we will also be moving to WAS 8 .X soon. Has anyone done performance comparison of WAS 7.X VS WAS 8.x with CLM 4.0.5?

For users in different geos, the network latency is most likely the cause of the performance issues.  So I do not think upgrading WAS will resolve this issue.
