Garbage files of Rational Team Concert under jazz\scmtools\eclipse

I use RTC for source control and I found hundreds of .dmp, .phd, .trc, and .txt files under the path jazz\scmtools\eclipse.

For example:

core.20160805.032134.7852.0001.dmp

heapdump.20171112.194428.21396.0002.phd

Snap.20171010.194301.27764.0004.trc

javacore.20171010.194301.27764.0003.txt

Those files take lots of disk space. I want to know if they are garbage files and can be deleted safely. Thanks.

0	permanent link Donald Nong (14.5k●4●14) \| answered Mar 29 '18, 5:20 a.m. They're not garbage but you can safely delete them. These are the Java dump files generated when the scmtools crashed on 2016-08-05, 2017-10-10 and 2017-11-12. They are too old to be of any use.
