Hi All,

We are planning to upgrade CLM from 5.0.2 to 6.0.4 keeping Lberty as our application server.

Below is my planned setup.

Server 1 :- JTS,CCM,RM,QM and IBM IHS(reverse proxy)

Server 2:- JRS,DCC

Can you provide me the steps on how can I proceed with upgrade and is it better to go with Liberty or Base WAS?

Regards,

Satish

We have been using Liberty as our application server and we did not face any challenges due to Liberty as an application server. So you can definitely go ahead with LIberty  (I am not a WAS expert!)

Regarding the upgrade, please try to generate the upgrade step by step guide using below link for your environment :

Good Luck!

Thanks!

Hi Mallikarjuna,

I am distributing the applications in 2 different servers.

how do I keep the same Public URL to access the applications in different server using Liberty as our application server?

Do I have to setup reverse proxy server before proceeding with upgrade?

Regards,

Satish

Satish, didn't you say that you would set up reverse proxy on Server 1?
