New in RTC (somewhere between 6.0.2 and 6.0.4), there has been a permission section added under project permissions. What do these apply to?

I believe that this is something introduced by the Enterprise Extensions team.

In particular, if you look at:
you will see references to both function definitions and version definitions.
So you only care about this if you use RTC on a mainframe.
