DOORS Next Generation 6.0.3 iFix003 opening a module results in duplicate binding error

Andrew Clement (7272473) | asked May 02 '17, 2:50 a.m.

I was using DOORS Next Generation on 6.0.3 iFix002.
After applying iFix003, I could not open a particular module and I got the following errors:
Error 400: Bad Request
com.ibm.rdm.fronting.server.exception.BadRequestException: Duplicate
bindings or cycles were detected in the submitted binding structure

How can this module be fixed?

As the error messages suggest, the module being opened contains duplicate bindings.

To resolve the issue, run Module Analyzer (in rm\admin) against the problem module and then click on "Remove duplicates" button in the result.

Prior to 6.0.3 iFix003, DOORS Next Generation does not detect duplicate bindings and allows them to be saved.
Starting from 6.0.3 iFix003, DOORS Next Generation will start detecting duplicate bindings in module structure and preventing the module from being saved/opened.

The fix is also in 6.0.1 iFix012 and 6.0.2 iFix009.
