Explore project area doesnt showup when using hostname or ip address in the web url

Hi,

I am using CLM 6.0.1 iFix003, the problem i am facing is when i use weburl like:https://clm.aliasname.com/ccm/admin the explore project area button shows up for PA that i am member of but instead of clm.aliasname.com when i use hostname or ip address (i.e,https://clm.hostname (or) ipaddress.com/ccm/admin) the explore project area button is not showing up.

Even when i create a project area (with Jazzadmin) rights the button is not showing uo using hostname or ip address of CLM server.

Could anyone help ?

When you configured the server via "jts/setup", I guess you used "https://clm.aliasname.com/" as the server's public URI. You should always access the CLM server using public URI. Using hostname or IP address may break some links so the issue you experienced is expected.
