Hi,

I assume it is not possible to import to a component vs. an RQM project area with the RQM Excel Import Utility. There is a config URI field in the Excel Import Utility UI but that imports to a certain configuration. And perhaps that makes more sense than importing to a component but that was requested by a user I am working with.

A component comes with an initial empty stream. Does "importing into the component " actually mean "importing into the initial stream"?

That is a great question. Because I can of course pick streams in the Config URI. I will look into that.

Yes, 'config URI' UI enables you to choose the configuration to import into. But be careful while choosing the config URI, it lists config URI for all the projects (158209: "Select the configuration context" dialog shows Config URI of all the projects.)
