What does error CRJAZ1992E mean when received on Background Task

We are receiving this error on DNG 6.0.2. We do not have GCM implemented. Our LDAP does not appear to have been sync'ing since 12/8/16 - are these 2 related?

CRJAZ1992E The "com.ibm.team.gc.sdk.service.GlobalConfigurationSdk.GlobalConfigurationCacheUpdateTask" task could not be completed and is now unscheduled. Error details: "CRJAZ0368E A database query could not run on the server. stmt = select t1.ITEM_ID, t1.STATE_ID from JTS_DB_USER.GLOBL_CNFGRTN_MDL_GLBL_CNFGRTN t1"

 Just to register, I think this problem must be related to this.

 It means there was an error in the background task. You'd have to look at the logs to see the exact error.
