DoorsNG Team Membership working incorrectly ?

can anybody confirm whether or not the team membership in DoorsNG is supposed to restrict visibility to an artifact when associated.  This is what it suggests its supposed to do, but does not appear to be working.

Scenario

Add a team - add members to the team
Associated artifact with that team
Log out and login as a user that is not a member of the team

Result : should not be able to see the artifact as user is not a member of the team
Actual Result : still have full visibility.

 Can you elaborate what setting where implies the ability to limit visibility based on team areas? I briefly looked and was not able to find anything obvious.

 Karen, team membership can be used to restrict permissions on artifacts, but it does not have an effect on readability.
You can only control readability at a project level (either a user is a member of a project or not).
