These appear to be custom categories that can be removed.
For RQM 3.0.1, see http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_organize_with_categories.html.

When I go to the edit option for categories, they do not show up at all. So there is no way to edit or delete them. It is like they are not there. However, they are on my summary page. We are using RQM 2.x at this time.
Thank you

I read over the documents you recommended. I went to each link in the documents and followed the instructions. I am not able to see the "Test Activity" or the "Trigger" anywhere. Please advise as to where I go from here?
Thank you
Categories are added to test plans or test cases based on your roles and permission, or can be edited thru the System Properties for each project area, if you have been given administrator membership to the project.
the Test Phase / Trigger is a categorization that is built in - it can be turned off thru the system properties.
Hi Robin,
As Karen mentioned, these categories are disabled in RQM 2.x by deselecting the 'Use Test Activity and Trigger in Test Case' check box in the 'Test Case Preferences' System Property (see http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rqmhelp/v2r0/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_sysprops.html).
