In RTC5.0.x (up to v6.0.2)-Gerrit integration environment, is Git hooks configuration required or not ?

No, the RTC-Gerrit integration does not require you to install Apache HTTP server and you need not deploy Git hooks but you need to apply the hooks for Gerrit.
