Why don't I see a resolution date in my Work Item history for one of my projects?

The resolution date gets put into the History on a CR when the CR moves from QA to QA Complete. This is automatically put into the History and is not entered by the user moving the CR to QA Complete.

However, for another project, when a CR gets moved to QA Complete, the Resolution Date does not get included in History. Therefore, my queries are not working for this project based on resolution date.

The resolution date / resolved by are
populated automatically when a workflow moves from In Progress / Open
status to Closed.

I would check the workflow states of CR as it may not have the state group defined. In order for the resolution date / resolved by values to be populated you would need to ensure that you specify
state group for all workflow states.
