Unknown Plugin needed for simple report charts?

Newbie user of RTC.
Trying to run a simple report and when it tries to plot I get an error message saying "a plugin is needed to display this content".

No hint as to what plugin.
What little I get back from a search of forum and help is talk about support for SVG graphics but also saying that SVG should be native for firefox.

FF= 38.8.0

Tried in chrome and it just automatically downloads a SVG file rather than displaying it.
