RQM can not get project form RTC jazz server
I am trying to integrate RQM2.0 and RTC2.0 on different machine.
I have configured RQM and RTC jazz server follwed the instructions "Setting up cross-server communication with Rational Team Concert" andSetting up build integration with Rational Team Concert. All steps have been passed except the last one "Set up the linkage between the Rational Team Concert project area and the Rational Quality Manager project area."
Followed the instruction "3.Set up the linkage between the Rational Team Concert project area and the Rational Quality Manager project area",I seted it. The RTC project area were showed in RQM.When I selected the project area which I want to link and click "save",I met the following error when I :
Creating project area back link failed.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Were any of you able to resolve this issue?
I am having the same problem and followed every line in the technote mentioned above.
I also don't get a login popup when trying the project linkage.
I'm still struggling .. got the server connections to work - both see each other as friends, but can't get the provider values in RQM to be populated for RTC - complains of "failed to connect to server" even though I've logged into both systems from each of the servers.

Hi Nerack:
I had ours working. I can create defect from RQM and it will associate with RTC's project task.
Check your RQM and RTC OAuth Consumer Management settings and Cross-Server Communication.
Make sure you created authorized keys for RQM and RTC. At least that's how I done it.
Lastly, double check your RTC & RQM Advanced Properties regarding the server's IP and port number.
Good luck with your configuration.
Regards,
One really important diagnostic technique is mentioned in passing at the very bottom of the tech note.
When you press "Finish" when establishing the link, you'll get an error. There is a URL included in that error. Copy that URL from the dialog and paste it into your browser. Going to that URL will generally include more detailed diagnostic information that might give you the hint that you need.
Common points of failure I've seen are this point, made in the doc, about the various properties set that take server URLs:
It is important to use a single, consistent way of addressing a server: All clients and collaborating servers must only use that address. Do not use other aliases besides the chosen address.
Another one that has come up a surprising amount is the system clock discrepancy issue.
Good luck!
Regards,
John
