The roadmap view in the dashboard provides the timeline view as show below:

The effort given in hours but it is considered as days. As you see in the above image, 2 hours is spanning for Monday and Tuesday. And 1 day is considered as 1 week.

Can you please upload the screen shots onto your post again? I don't believe they were attached correctly as I'm unable to see any of the images you are referring to.
