How do you return a contributor field back to unassigned via the RTC web front end

Using the web GUI, I wish to reset a contributor field back to "Unassigned"
Once a value has been set in this field, the drop-down list will only display valid contributor values but not "Unassigned".   I can write a query and update the field, but the the user needs to be able to update this field directly via the webform.

I just checked with 5.0.2 and my drop down provides unassigned as a selection option.

I also have 5.0.2 but Unassigned does not appear in the drop down via the web GUI.  It is available via the thick client but my user base only accesses RTC via the web

 I can't reproduce this. It clearly works for me. I would check the logs for error messages and contact support.
