how to migrate existing multi-select attribute during 3.x to 4.0 upgrade
After upgraded from RTC 3.x to RTC 4.0, we do not have a way to migrate existing multi-select attribute created in 3.x.
In 4.0, the multi-select attribute use new attribute type: enumeration list, which is a totally different solution compare with RTC 3.x Currently user need to manual process is required to 1. create new attribute of enumeration list 2. copy the value from old attribute to new one 3. remove old attribute from workitem With this, 1. it is not a migration but new create step 2. While if there is large amount of workitem involved, requires large man power Can we provide a way to make the date migration smooth? |
