 Hello All,

We currently have RTC 5.0.2 in our environment (JTS + CCM) in SLES 11/WAS8.5.5/DB2 10.5.

Also datawarehouse is configured which means we have 3 databases JTS, CCM & DW.

Now we would like to upgrade to RTC 6.0.

We have requests from few of our customers to add JRS (Jazz Reporting Service). For a fact I see JRS includes Data Collection Component (DCC), Data Warehouse (DW), Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE), Report Builder (RB) and ALM Cognos Connector.

So the datawarehouse which is included in JRS is separate for itself or it replaces the DW component for RTC as well ? Also is it possible to register JRS with our existing setup ?

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Thanks,
Vishnu M

Jazz Reporting service is a reporting solution and like any other CLM application can be co installed and registered with existing JTS .JRS uses either Rational Datawarehouse or LQE( Tech preview) as data source. So you can use existing Data warehouse as a data source for JRS.
