RTC - process template vs process sharing.

Is there a table that can show the difference between creating process templates vs process sharing?

We created a process template with work item types and queries. It worked for those when we created a new RTC project, however when selecting the work item type drop down on work items...it just hangs saying "Retrieving". Also, we can't seem to make Dashboard template work as the main dashboard just gives a java error.

So we are looking at process sharing, but does it bring queries, dashboards along with it?
