How to change RRC link in ReqPro?

Jing Chen (162) | asked Jul 15 '09, 4:21 a.m.
Hello there,

The RRC and reqpro project integration was setup by using the local hostname.

Finally, we have the DNS name for the RRC servers. However, I noticed that some of the integration link in Reqpro are still using the local host name for RRC.

If you click the RRC link in Reqpro Web, it will launch a new connection with the old local hostname for RRC. After I logged into the new connection, I will have two server connections in RRC explorer. Both of them are pointing to the same server.

Thanks in advance,

Jing

Hi Jing,

The integration links are not updated if the server name is changed. When the requirements are updated in RRC, the links in ReqPro will be synchronized and they will then reflect the change in server name.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your advice.

I have tried your solution. However, the changes I made in RRC didn't get reflected in Reqpro. Is there anything I need to do to get the synchronisation going?

Thanks,

Jing
