more choices on test steps verdicts.

Navneet Srivastava (17712) | asked Jul 15 '15, 8:44 a.m.

Can we have some setting/choice to show that a step was skipped/Not Run instead of deferred that will not show as a “PASSED” step.

The current options for a test step is that the step is:

1.       Passed

2.       Failed

3.       Inconclusive

4.       Blocked

5.       Error

6.       PermFailed

7.       Deferred

To add some background there are  "execution states" (these can  be accessed and modified via the Admin → Manage Project Properties: menu) and Verdicts
Execution States in the Project properties are linked to the overall verdict of the Execution result.
When you change any values in the project properties, the affect is only visible in the Execution results page (post completion of the execution).
Verdicts for the individual test steps are completely separate from execution states, currently these are not editable

There are a few Enhancement requests around this functionality
