Does the RTC 5.0.2 support required custom attributes in quick planner, plan views, etc.?

It appears that Quick Planner in 5.0.2 does not have support for required custom attributes? Am I missing something?  Is it possible to display a custom attribute in a Plan "View".

We have started exploring the features of Quick Planner but not managed to find anything of that sort.
There is no option to customize from the Project Area Administration too.
In the same context, we are trying to bring in Comments/Discussion attribute into the view. But could not find an option :(
